College students shouldn’t be allowed their cellphones throughout college hours, the tradition secretary has stated.
Matt Hancock steered extra headteachers ought to confiscate cellphones from kids in the beginning of the day, as he warned mobiles can have a “actual affect” on college students’ achievements.
The minister is worried social media use can expose kids to “dangers” – together with cyberbullying.
Writing within theEvery day Telegraph , Mr Hancock questioned why younger kids wanted telephones at college within the first place.
