A Brexit-backing MP who gave Boris Johnson protesters the center finger after he resigned has been given a job as an training minister.
Andrea Jenkyns, a Johnson loyalist, shouted “wait and see” to crowds who went to look at his resignation.
Elevating a finger within the air for emphasis, Ms Jenkyns appeared to defy the hecklers, calling: “Those that snort final, snort loudest”.
The member of the European Analysis Group gave the center finger as she walked away.
Now, simply over 24 hours later, Ms Jenkyns has been given the function of training minister.

She tweeted: “It’s my honour to serve the prime minister as Parliamentary Below-Secretary of State for Training.
“Our training & care methods assist to form the following era & lay the foundations for the long run.”
Cynics replied with feedback together with “Can’t look forward to you train our youngsters good manners”, with screenshots of her giving the center finger.
As Mr Johnson continued his main reshuffle, pressured by the resignations of greater than 50 authorities members between Tuesday night and Thursday lunchtime, one other Brexiteer, Peter Bone, was made the brand new deputy chief of the Home of Commons – a submit that had not been crammed since 2019.
And Damian Collins was made parliamentary under-secretary of state on the Division for Digital, Tradition, Media and Sport.
